(... LOVING GOD ...)

The Mission of CCN is to make Disciples by

Loving God, Growing Together, Serving Others

The priorities and methods of our mission are mandated by the Word of God and form three faces of our mission: “Loving God, Growing Together, Serving Others”. These are not separate objectives but an integrated and comprehensive plan to make disciples according to the commands of Jesus.

We believe that a disciple is a “trained follower of Jesus who teaches and ministries the Gospel to others.”

One essential principle for being a disciple of Jesus is…

MAKING A COMMITMENT TO REGULAR ATTENDANCE IN A WORSHIP SERVICE

LOVING GOD

Expressing my Love for God by a Commitment to Regular attendance in Worship  (1) Allows me to have an intimate encounter with God and His Son, Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  (2) Provides me a time when I can join other believers in worshipping and praising the Lord. (3) Gives me needed exposure to God’s Word and Teaching from a Learned Pastor.

Loving God means… Making a lasting and real commitment to worship with other believers in consistent participation in Sunday Worship Services. Coming together with others weekly to praise and worship the Lord Jesus, and to hear the word of God spoken and taught is where it all begins!

Making A Commitment for you and your family to come regularly to Sunday Morning Worship is a key part of becoming a disciple.  Jesus wanted the disciples to join often together for worship, prayer, and study in the ways of Christianity and The Gospel, and He wants us to do the same!  The Bible tells us that where two or more families are gathered together, God is in the midst of them!  Don’t forsake assembling your family with your church family on Sunday to encounter Jesus in a powerful and needed way.  Wonderful things happen in worship.

Worship has been defined as … (1) expressing my love to God for who he is, what he has said and what he is doing … (2) declaring God’s worth and value to me … (3) my response of all that God is--mind, emotions, will, and body--to all that God is and says and does … (4) an adoring attitude toward the person, attributes, and acts of God, and a willful desire to conform to Him through obedience to His revealed will.
